MT. Omuro (大室山, Ōmuroyama) is an extinct volcano near the eastern coast of the Izu Peninsula, south of Tokyo. MT. Omuro is shaped like a upside-down bowl, it is about 580 meters high with a diameter of about 300 meters which takes about 15 to 30 minutes to circle on foot. The top of the mountain offers 360 degree panoramic views that include MT. Fuji and Oshima Island on clear days.
